What is Veinwave?

Veinwave is a revolutionary new procedure for the treatment of spider veins anywhere they may occur on the body. Using microwave energy via a tiny needle, Veinwave is safely able to target locations like the knees and face that are either too bony or too sensitive to be treated with traditional techniques like sclerotherapy. Thermogcoagulation is used to heat and seal shut veins immediately, without the use of lasers that can burn or scar the skin. After being used for years in Europe, Veinwave is finally available in the US for safe, effective, minimally invasive spider vein treatment.

Miami Vein Doctor: Simple Exercise Improves May Reduce Varicose Veins

Doctors have warned Americans for years that sedentary lifestyles are bad for health. Lethargy at home and even at the office, where people sit in chairs for hours on end, can lead to weight gain, heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and other health issues.

Cardiologists specializing in vein care and circulatory disorders have even linked sedentary living to varicose veins and spider veins. Left untreated, varicose veins can become painful and advance into such serious illnesses as chronic venous insufficiency, or CVI.

Medical solutions for varicose or spider veins include surgery, laser treatment, sclerotherapy, varicose vein injection, vein phlebectomy and Least Invasive Techniques (or LIT). More »

September 11th, 2012    Posted by: SofferHealth

Allergies are nothing to sneeze at. In fact, they can be deadly. Beyond bothersome sneezing, coughing, runny nose and watery eyes, allergies can exacerbate asthma, raise one’s heart rate, restrict breathing, and – in the worst cases – lead to death.

For 50 million Americans, allergic reactions to food and drugs, insect/bug bites or stings, and a host of other allergens pose a daily – often deadly – threat. Research reveals that allergies have grown among all ages, genders and ethnic groups in little more than a generation. Researchers are not sure why. But they know allergies are the third most common chronic disease among children under 18 and are the fifth-leading chronic disease in the country for all age groups, notes the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. June 22nd, 2012    Posted by: SofferHealth
